Dream no. 138

A crowded bar and city reflections, Monochrome, Volonte fotografo MilanoYou and me sitting in a cafe
In the heart of the city of nothingness
Ancient walls, crystals, new buildings that will soon decay
Everything is inside, everything is out
A thousand overlapping faces
A thousand confused thoughts, getting lost
While the wine bottle runs dry
You slowly slide away from me
I dreamt that we would have walk together
Throughout our summer
The broken strand, an interrupted dialogue, love torn apart
A thousand lights catch on fire
A thousand stars appearing little by little, in the distance
While the glasses remain half full
The insoluble solitudes gathered around us
You don’t know it, I don’t realize it
Winter has come
You and me sitting in a cafe

Io e te seduti in un caffé
Nel cuore della città del nulla
Antiche mura, cristalli, nuovi palazzi che presto invecchieranno
Tutto è dentro, tutto è fuori
Mille volti si sovrappongono
Mille pensieri si confondono, si perdono
Mentre la bottiglia di vino si svuota
Scivoli piano lontano da me
Avevo sognato che avremmo camminato insieme
Per tutta la nostra estate
Il filo spezzato, un discorso interrotto, l’amore fatto a pezzi
Mille luci prendono fuoco
Mille stelle appaiono lentamente, in distanza
Mentre i bicchieri restano mezzi pieni
Attorno a noi si raccolgono le solitudini insolubili
Tu non lo sai, non me ne rendo conto io
E’ arrivato l’inverno
Io e te seduti in un caffé
