Nightmare no. 37

Two branches tree in light windThe tree with two souls
Just one thing
Two of us
Behind our backs were passing trains
Load of people, of things for sale, of dreams
We stayed close to each other
In front of us the sea
His music, his smell, his anger
We were so young
Toasting with white fresh wine
The stars were overlooking us and then they retreated, moved
Below them we felt incorruptible
In everlasting love
Time was on our side
We had no knowledge of hate
We didn’t know the power of the lightning

L’albero con due anime
Una cosa sola
Noi due
Alle nostre spalle passavano treni
Carichi di persone, di cose in vendita, di sogni
Ci tenevamo stretti
Nell’amore eterno
Il tempo era dalla nostra parte
Non conoscevamo l’odio
Non sapevamo la forza del fulmine
