Nightmare: In pieces

In piecesIn pieces
like only a bottle of gin can be
like a heart stabbed
like a tree struck by lightning
In pieces
as a clock without hands
like a lost soul in the dark
as the wave that breaks on the coast
In pieces
as the bones of a living being beaten
as your eyes without love
like an exploded sun
In pieces
like a violin without neck and bridge
as fallen angels
like a brain devoured by cancer
In pieces
such as glasses trampled
as a man deprived of his liberty
like a broken pencil
In pieces
as a burnt page
as children without a future
as an incurable wound open in blood
In pieces
as a torn letter, never sent
as a broken love
as a departure postponed forever
In pieces
as a photo written with the light and then burned by the light
as an idea betrayed
as a night flight interrupted by the day
In pieces
like me.

In pezzi
In pezzi
In pezzi
come i tuoi occhi senza amore
come un sole esploso
In pezzi
come un violino senza manico e senza archetto
come angeli caduti
come un cervello divorato dal cancro
In pezzi
come occhiali calpestati
come un uomo privato della libertà
come una matita spezzata
In pezzi
come una pagina bruciata
come figli senza futuro
In pezzi
come una lettera strappata, mai spedita
come un amore finito
come una partenza rimandata per sempre
In pezzi
In pezzi
come me.
