No escape from reality

Ore 6:30 AM
Autostrada A7 direzione sud.
Poche auto sulla strada.
Non sono riuscito a dormire questa notte,
sono partito.
Si, dovrei partire mi dicevo, forse fuggire…
Ma ho fatto solo pochi chilometri
e ne sono già certo…
Non è possibile scappare dai propri pensieri,
dalle paure, dalla realtà.
Nessuna via di scampo.
Il destino è già scritto.

6:30 in the morning.
Highway A7 southbound.
Not many cars on the road.
I couldn’t sleep last night,
I left.
Yes, I wander to myself, I should go, maybe escape…
But, after few miles,
I’m already sure about it…
It’s not possible to break free from our thoughts,
from fears, from reality.
No way out.
The fate is already written.
